History

The vision of Baja Bible School originated from the one-year Bible school model created by Sir Ian Thomas and Torchbearers ministries. Torchbearers schools andother one-year Bible schools like Ecola Bible School disciple and impact the lives of thousands of students every year.

Four young men who attended Ecola Bible School had the dream of starting a similar school on the Baja peninsula of Mexico. After starting both a Mexican and a U.S. non-profit corporation, God provided a dedicated and capable board of directors with a common, more specific vision: A school in the heart of Tijuana with an emphasis on theological education and cross-cultural learning and service.

After several years of meeting, praying, and planning, the boards of directors are fine-tuning the program, looking to the Lord for guidance at every step. As we draw closer to starting classes, it has been a blessing to see God use the project to change the lives of those who have participated. Our prayer is to see God continue to use this school for many years to touch lives of both students our neighbors around us.
