Our key underlying commitment at Baja Bible School is to carry out the Great Commission of Christ. We make disciples by teaching [students] to obey all that Christ commanded. We believe that the combination of teaching with hands-on life experience is key to a Christ-centered life.

That is why community living, service, worship, cross-cultural experiences, and other community events have been incorporated into our program. Students do not only hear about forgiving one another, they have opportunities to see and practice it. Students do not only hear lectures on poverty (Christ's teaching on how we treat the poor), but they see it firsthand and personally grapple with its implications. Students do not only intellectually acknowledge that different cultures have different value systems - they look into the mirror of a different culture and see values in their own that they never recognized before.
